Supposed to be a 10 minute job. I remove the OEM dry, clutch cover, only to find that the mounting spots on the plate are thinner than the OEM clutch, and therefore you can’t tighten it. Pic below shows what I’m talking about. I found nothing in the box to adapt this, what am I missing?

I had to source Proti bolts when changing the clutch cover, the stock bolt length only fit the OEM clutch cover. Dial calipers will get you down to the mm needed

The packing slip says it includes for shoulder bolts which means either they didn’t, or I freaking lost them, which is more likely the case. I ordered four bolts while I was at the dealer today dropping my bike off for the new exhaust like four bucks. I will probably find them when I walk in the house like tomorrow

Bolts are like mice. They scatter when you’re looking for them and are nowhere to be found but then you’ll randomly stumble upon one wondering where it came from

Complain to the supplier … it wasn’t supplied fit for purpose .. demand your money back 🤷🏼‍♂️😉

Not worth making a scene when the fault is potentially mine. And im sure not about to bitch when they are installing my akra exhausts…

Andy’s trying to be cheeky… but I’ll bite nevertheless. By his logic, if a part that you’ve specifically specified doesn’t fit it’s YOUR fault and YOU need to bodge it to make it work. Therefore in your case Skydivr, it’s your responsibility to dremel the engine case to get to the cover to fit. Makes sense right???
