The 1299 parts fiche lists the frames bush kit no. as 75610361AA.
Yet the one on the bike has no. 75630361A. ?

Weird????

I've seen that on other Ducati parts. I think the 2nd A is an internal thing.

Why the different no. aswell though?? ( "303" V 103")

To confuse me even more,
The new frame from ducati Dealer, which came with the build- the part no.
(47022051CA) on the receipt matches the 1299S frames parts fiche no.
YET,
The bushing inserts have yet another part no, which I or the dealer can't even find listed anywhere ?????(75630141A)

So,
Just to be sure it right, I am buying the 24 Degree Bush kit. :(

They done the same trick on the 1199S V 1299S ohlins, bet ya there identical inside, yet both have different no.s written on there feet/bottoms to confuse owners/buyers.

Only figured that one out after buying my crashed 1299S, then buying the forks(1 bent, other straight) off it because assumed were different with them having different part no's on them and on parts fiche.

Ohlins don't list the 1299S ohlins, yet do have parts listing for the 1199S, so I ordered the Gold outer tube/station from 1199S for my Bent 1299S fork from Kais Ohlins dealer up the road from me.
( £245+ £75 fitting with new oil and seal)

I bought kit today. It is listed same no. as on parts fiche, yet the part no. on the kit is actually the 75630361A.

The mystery of the minds of the Ducati parts department:confused:

Oh, side note. The 2015 R has totally different frame part no. AND has separate part no. for both upper and lower bush inserts/parts. More mystery, or just Ducati playing with numbers again.

This the story on the '15R bushings

2015 Panigale R Secret Revealed?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you may remember, I documented (w/photos) my install of the 24 degree bearing housings in my 2013 Pani R. The results were a great improvement in all handling areas.

But, since I’m a curious sort, the description of the ’15 R as having 5 mm increase wheelbase caught my eye. Did the factory change the triples? If so, wouldn’t this slow down the handling while promoting greater high speed stability? And … how could I do this for my bike?

Here are the parts from the microfiche for the 2015:

They do move the upper and lower housings forward 5 mm as expected…..but, and here is the “secret”: the new fork angle is 23.5 degrees!!!!! NOT the 24 advertised!

HooHah! I probably won’t install them but they do use the sealed bearings rather than the “loose balls” of the originals.

I’m pleased with my 24 degree setup.
