They used RS11's, same size as the r11 though 200/55-17.

I hate to be a cynic as I like their vids, but BStone gives them the tires FoC. That could "sway" their opinion.

Also, if not for the QS issue on the RSV4 it may have won. I can say, I've not had any issues with my '21 RSV4 Factory

I wonder though how that effects all the DTC DWC settings. A YouTube'r who is getting sampled bikes or tires, or a Isle of Man weekend is suspect for sure.

... meh. I had a 17 Aprilia that I loved... it's not even close to the V4S. I have a 20 SDR that probably has a dead battery b/c of how good the V4S is.

I haven't had any issues with my 2021 RSV4 Factory as well.

On the Ducati and Ape, just do tire calibration., no worries with electronics. BMW probably has the same. On my GSX-R1000R going from a 180/60 to a 200/60 caused no issues. Kaw and Yam, no idea

Watched that a few weeks before the Pandemia went wild and an Egyptian National destroyed my 2018 V4S. I picked up my 2020 V4S on March 5th the day before the bike shop closed. What a ...... up year but a fantastic bike!

Having switched from Pirelli to Michelin Power GP's I can relate to their comments. Haven't run BS tires on my V4's but did on the 1199S and they were ok. Loved the Q4's better.

I'm curious of the comments for other tires as well as 44T's comments about the Bridgestones being better on the V4. Being primarily a street rider, I have always liked the solid feel of the Pirelli's on this V4 as well as my 1199 before. Do you guys feel the Pirelli's are bad?

I love my Bridgestones on the Street.

The only way to really know, is try them yourself.

I think Pirelli rear tyres are pretty much the worst tyres in existence. Unless you only like doing five laps, changing wheels and spending money. Then, they're excellent.

What do you use?

I have a extra set of wheels for rains
but more importantly I have an separate extra rear wheel with another slick on it at all times. Changing the rear takes like 3 minutes. I get a day out of a rear, which about as good as it gets on a liter bike that puts 202 hp at the wheel...

As Dave Moss describes in his vids, the Pirelli and others have a triangulated profile. On the street I prefer the rounded profile of the Michelin's now. Sure the Pirelli's are a sticky and predictable tire and I most likely would chose the SuperCorsas for a track day. However, I have ran the Q4's on my 1199S and loved them.

Considering that a set of SuperCorsa 2's cost almost $500, I'm not going that route: Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V2 Tire Set

Dunlop Q4's are nearly the same price: Dunlop Sportmax Q4 Tire Set

Bridgestone S22's currently seem to be what's a little cheaper as well. Might try them out next time.
