Out playing with tha Hero 2, trying to get the most creative shots and sound on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. I believe you get the best viewing experience when the cam is mounted directly on the motorcyle. I dont parlicularly like watching from a helmet cam or chest harness. Well I hope you enjoy, like and comment ;-).

Also the PIRELLI DIABLO app is bad ass...can't wait to use it on the track.

I like the cam angle off the tail best. Can't believe that thing pulls power wheelie off 4th gear! Sick.

Yeah, I usually get an easy hop shifting to 2nd and 3rd while laying the power down...it was a sensational feeling having it come up in 4th :).

I mean you already doing a buck thirty plus but not enough power to flip you over so, just lay on the tank and enjoy them rev light haha.

Im telling yall Reverse Power Shifter is the way to go, just tuck, hold her wide open, shift and hang on ;-)

Good shots! I am going to experiment around some more this year with mounting. I want to get a good shot while racing, maybe aim it backwards like you did. Forwards has worked good for me in the past.

The shots from underneath looking forward are sick. I think this reinforces the fact that you need like 3 cameras though. One mounted there, one on the side rear and one in a reverse fashion somewhere. Then edit it all together. :)

Interesting app, though I would seriously question it's ability to record accurate lean angles....but it would be cool if it did :D

Yeah that would be awesome, I really like the shot from over your shoulder facing fwd...it gives it a MotoGp feel.

Mounting it on the side fairing facing rear is bad ass for when you're dragging knee at the track...or on the street ;)

I dunno, I meant uses GPS and I had it mounted firmly on my triple tree...either way, pretty cool app I think.

great shots!

i kinda like the pirelli app, but it's too coarse. on my records the speeds never match (300 kph on backroads???) and the gps tracking won't work precisely on the track.
but it's a kind of nice to have.

the under belly cam position is sick!!! thanks for the inspiration!

Yessir, glad you like the vid.

I find the speed recorded not accurate either to be honest...I thought maybe because I was out in the middle of nowhere that perhaps the GPS was cutting in and out...

ok, 5 cameras. Mount one on a stalk out on front of you so you can get a clear shot of most of you and most of the bike too.

HAHA I think you'd be hazardous on the track with that many cam lol.

I do have a vid on youtube tho riding my 1198 with the cam mounted with suction cup on the windshield facing straight back...pretty cool as you could see my whole upper body, handle bars and upper bike.

Some ppl dont realize you can use all this to improve your riding style and technique.

At some point ill get someone (who can keep up lol) to get a shot riding behind me ;-)

Chill out. We all experience riding motorcycles at different levels with different kinds of passion. There isn't one single way to do things in this world. Enjoy the excitement and passion from a fellow Panigale rider! We are all in this together!

Now we need a "tutorial" on how to mount the camera underneath the pipes!

The first wheelie is mind blowing!

One of the pics above shows how it's mounted under the bike.

I used one of the flad sticky pads on the small horizontal part where the oil drain plug is, just clean the bike surface really well.

Also, use the shorter "attachment buckle" to gain maximum ground clearance.

At first I was going to place the flat sticky pad up in the radiator fan housing which would give me even more clearance. I decided against that because of the difficulty undoing the attachment buckle when removing cam.

..dont for get to change camera orientation when cam is mounted upside down ;-)
