I have a 2012 Panigale 1199 S with about 16,000 miles on it. When I turn the handle bars to the left, while on the kick stand and attempt to lock the handlebars, the locking plunger rubs against the locking position on the Triple Clamp and stops the locking attempt. I need to rotate the steering counterclockwise about 1/8" to allow the locking plunger to fully engage so the key fully returns to the lock position so the key can be removed. Where do I go to find out how to do this? I am an experienced mechanic. New to motorcycles. I got my license 4 years ago (at 63 years old, ex pro hockey player and boxer) and bought this bike with 1400 miles on it. I just got it back from the Major Service. The Dealer was not as helpful as I had hoped. Thank you.

If you turn yer bars to the left when it’s on the side stand it stands the bike up closer to vertical (easier to get knocked over) than if you turn them to the right : )

The stops are adjustable if you insist tho

Thank you for the response. Can anyone tell me where you can get a manual to tell me how to adjust the turning stops? Much appreciated.
