Ha! They flipped out when I told em I was ditching the pump. I didn’t know about the BSD box or how any of it worked back then. I’ll have to say you have both helped me A LOT. Thank you for that. The stalking/talking .... I can take but why needlessly scare people man? And none of these guys are gonna go spend $20k on electronics. Lol. Give it a rest maybe? Dunno. This forum is a trip

Astute observation Craig. The two animals are vastly different. This place used to be a community of relatively "involved" individuals. Unfortunately, it quite a departure from its former self, unregulated and therefore has become at least for me a form of comic relief. All the good content is off line in private exchanges between a bunch of original members.

Ducati Modified, I don't know WTF that is. You have Howard who is the grand wizard in a sort of Mr Rogers persona and his minions who spend all day doing the same thing, stroking Howard's bloated ego and drooling over that completely overdone monstrosity of a money pit he is building to ride in his living room. The only accessory that Howard needs now is one of those fancy coats with the long sleeves that tie in the back.
 
Regarding the other forum and members on it - what difference does it make to people on this forum, who’s posting there and/or what they’re posting?

What harm is done if a guy buys a bike, modifies it, and never rides it? How does that negatively impact anyone else?

As far as I’m concerned, anyone can spend their money modifying their bike however they like, and for any purpose they want, and it should be of no concern to anyone else. And if it IS of concern to anyone else, then it likely says far more about THAT person than it does about the person modifying their bike.

Put another way, it’s usually the person with a hang-up who has the issue, not the person they’re hung up on. :)
 
Craig, you are taking this way to seriously man. This is just comedy well, it might not be in the case of Mick76, LOL however come on man, cant we all agree on what you know everyone else is thinking? Howard needs the long jacket.

The big fault on this site is the lack of moderation, which isn't really anyone's fault. It just allows particular individuals to spam every thread with "insight" when they have zero actual expertise on what they're talking about. I'm not about to argue with Mick or Endodoc because they pretty clearly have waaaaay more knowledge and experience than I do. I figured that would be common sense, but here we are, having a dude who seems to have only owned/worked on a singular non-functional Ducati insisting other guy's bikes can't possibly run.
