Hello fellow Ducsters....I'm new to the forum and look forward to learning everyones experiences with the 1199. I picked up a new R on the 24th and I'm currently short shifting the hell out if it to get to the first 600 miles. I have previously owned a '03 999s, '05 999r, and a '08 D16rr. I just sold the 999r and Desmosedici as a package on ebay and looking forward to comparing the performances with the 1199r on road and track. I tend to put high mileage on my bikes and hope my experiences with the 1199 are as reliable and exciting as my past rides.
