Need some of advice on a DQS issue. Has anyone had issues with their quick shifter not working correctly on an intermittent basis. Seems to work initially on a ride then just stop working for some reason. I already had it back to the dealer once and they thought they knew what the fix was for it but that didn't work. Last time the dealer had it,.they stated there was an injector code which they cleared. But a week later the problem is back. Is this a sensor problem? Any advice/info would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I go to shift with in any gear and the DQS on its not shifting to the next. Using the clutch works and there are no warnings/lights showing on the TFT. It started happening a couple weeks ago. At first my dealer thought it might be my fender eliminator from Competition werkes putting out incorrect voltage but that wasn't it since I had it replaced and put a new one on. I have taken it on several rides where the DQS works for some gears and not for others or just doesn't work at all. I thought I read some where on a thread in here that someone had a similar issue with this problem.

Not sure but I have the Comp Werkes fender eliminator and integrated tail light with no issues. Maybe an issue with the QS sensor?

I was thinking that may be it but not sure...have to see what the dealer says about it. Thanks

You may find it is the gear sensor on the linkage rode. Sometimes that sensor needs to be ref lashed. Very quick job for the dealer. A few bikes have had the issue and it happened to mine. I would start the bike in neutral and the display would start jumping around from "1" to "2" as if the bike was in first or second. It would then cut out. Quick trip to the dealer and fixed very quickly.

Exactly the same fault has happened to others. Not saying it is definitely it but perhaps could be. Something to mention to the dealer anyway.

Happened to me back in about Oct 12 few months after getting the bike and never come back since. Good luck with it.

I've the very same sensor replaced 2 times on earlier model 2013-R - same symptoms: flashing numbers on the screen, in N but display indicates 1 or 2 :)

By the way....for some reason, no matter where i look now in the Technical section of the Ducati web site, or the owners manual i cannot find where it indicates to Close the Throttle to use the DQS Downshift....anyone know where they state that, i know i read it, but cannot find it now
