Aero fins

Having now collected my S, just wondered what the general view is on the fitment or otherwise of the aero fins to the fairing. I haven't seen a bike with the fins fitted, but the dealer tells me that they etch into the paint work so best to make the decision to fit or not rather than fitting and then wanting to take them off again. Anyone fitted them yet? Any photos?
 
I will be having the kit installed from new

no thank you !!! those are ugly bro and not neccessary...not that funtional, and thats why they werent on the bikes at yas Marina and you wont see too many guys put em on lol
 
I'm gonna hold off on my personal judgement until I can see some other angles. Anyone got any other angles?
 
Dont like the seam - dont think i'll be using those - just have to lose a little wait to fit behind the regular fairing :D
 
whats the point of spending all that time designing a small narrow bike (what everyone wants) and then stick those on it and make it look like a K4 gixer
 
Funny....I asked my dealer to find out about ordering me a set as an add-on for my base model, but he forgot.......and now I'm pleased he did!! Saved me a few quid there, I don't like the seam either.

Though, I thought these were standard on the "S" and the TRI...:confused:
Definitely, better without...I hope they won't be installed on my TRI
 
Thanks for the picture! Now that all of us have an idea of how it looks like and can decide wether to fit it or not. :)
 
I saw them when the Panigale was here and thought they dont look to bad even though we just placed them in the spot and didnt really fit them, but that pic with the larger screen does not really do them justice.
I am sure people will like them some wont.

As I have the tall screen, I think I will keep the aero fins in the box they came in for the time being....so far I think it looks better without. Thanks for debate and views!
 
I've been staring at those two little pieces of plastic in a box for the last week wondering what the hell they are, many thanks, now I know. And they will be staying in the box too, they will look even worse on a tri.

Lol....I could just imagine that:D

Your right tho they wouldnt look good on the TRI unless they are carbon or different colour.
