Finally arrived, and very quickly might I add once I pulled the trigger. Thank you Ljuice for recommending a vendor in Spain that was $250 cheaper than anyone else! Although I got bent over on Brokerage fees of $171 by ups. Oh well.

Can't believe how light this helmet it compared to my Arai Corsair V.

Ps my ...... cell phone pix don't do the colours justice what's so ever.

Thanks, yeah it seems like we get finger banged for anything we bring into canada. FML

I've had limited edition corsair v helmets for a while finally ordered a plain matte black corsair v why am i more excited then ever?

A good tip: $171... That is the import tax you pay when you buy something overseas. Next time you buy a helmet , buy it at Champion Helmets (you pay $0 tax in the shop, and 0$ import tax) several guys here bought their pistagp there and none of them paid any tax. these guys have an excellent service and the prices are really good.

the turtle is an awesome helmet, in my opinion the best one he had so far. (the Donkey was fun as well) But the contrast of wearing a turtle helmet on a super sport bike is just funny. My buddy has one as well and he rides a S1000rr, it just looks funny on a sport bike. He gets jokes about this helmet whenever we are on the track :)

All true. I bought my PistaGP through Champion and have had it for about a year or so now. I was still living in the US when I got it and paid no taxes or import duties. I later bought my dark visor through them too and had it delivered to my new residence in Germany with no issues. Highly recommend them and I am not affiliated with them in any way.

Edit: I think I paid 870 euro or something around there. So about $1150 roughly, a lot cheaper than the $1400 they're going for now.

Th difference is, motocard is selling Pista's for 800. So, even with the tax, still cheaper than most us stores.

Import fees are different everywhere. Sometimes I get charged next to nothing and others I get bent over here in Canada. I really think it has to do with who you get as a broker....

This is an awesome site! Great prices!! Sidi Vortice boots for $289. Damn. Buncha Dainese suits for like 300-500 cheaper than retail for suits that are typically in the 1200 range.

I wish I would've known about motocard before I ordered my new agv gear, definitely bookmarked for the future.

I can sell you a turtle in a crash helmet if anyone is interested?

Not sure about import taxes on it though?!

All I know is this, Champion Helmets has the turtle AGV Corsa for 1,111.49. Motocard has it for $746.34. I paid $54 tax. So, even with the taxes, cheaper to order from Motocard. Other helmets are the same way. I'm out.....

You may want to check again. MC sells it for $903 and CH for $964 euro (plus a -$75 coupon code which is on the Turtle helmet page if you read the product description ;-)) so $889. All I know is several people here bought it at CH because of that same reason (some people in this same thread) Don't get me wrong MC might be as good as CH but you have to compare $ with $ and euro with euro. That's all
