I have it on my bike does it remove the exhaust valve? I see the original in the box of parts I got with my bike but didnt know if it had its own? Just double checking.

You have the full titanium racing system which was well over $6K installed.

no exhaust valve, no cats, barely any noise reduction

Akra DDS upmap Allows to ECU to bypass checking for the Valve system which means the check engine light won’t come on

Be sure to notify BrennTuning when they are writing your new maps

Evo system is 3000-3500, depending on who is selling it. It is different than the DP Akrapovic. Doesn't come with an upmap. It is much cheaper than the v4 system and also easier to install.

The bike may not display a check engine light but it does log a code in the ecu. If scanned, it will display a check engine light.

Didn't know the Evo was different. Is it less critical to have the upmap with it? Pretty sure mine has the EVO not the DP Akra.

Once you flash your bike you won’t have anything to worry abt

I’m sure the wealthy original owner of your bike bought the exhaust at the dealer and had them install it including the software UpMap

That's the DP akra.

Evo Akra doesn't have ducati performance etched on the cans. That system originally came with an upmap. Evo system did not. The system itself is essentially the same system besides the etching and upmap.

No I know that it didnt come from Ducati. So it’s probably the evo.

Ok thanks for info.

Ok makes sense. My Akra slip ons day DP and I received the little box marked DDS with a thumb drive. What does DDS stand for?

I’m confident UpMap vs no UpMap will not matter once it’s professionally tuned

I know the DDS key is the Upmap Unlock Key. DDS is Ducatis Diagnostic Tool.

Strange your slip-ons say DP too makes me wonder if mine is just the evo I know he didn't get it at Ducati.

Ducati performance etched on the cans were the Akra systems (both slipon and full) that was originally sold at the dealerships. Both slipon and full came with an upmap that was only able to be installed by the dealer. These systems were sold for the 1299's.
The evo system is a full system only that came out first and was only available for the 899/1199. It did not come with an upmap but you could install upmaps yourself. I have the full evo akra with a termi full upmap.

The systems in the photos are not evo systems.

You got PM.

DoubleO is correct. For the 1299/Panigale R models, Akrapovic made two full exhaust models the evolution that many aftermarket vendors sell for $3,000+ and the Ducati Performance (DP) full exhaust with upmap kit ($5,200) that was pictured in the 1299/Pani R viewbook. I also believe that the DP kit has a 2 mm larger diameter than the evo pipes to accommodate the larger 1299 engine. The DP was sold as an accessory at Ducati dealers.
