Akra full underseat exhaust, plastic melt

Got my V4R back in local AD, they put full akra in… and also that plastic cover… see the results

. Anyone else that problemos?

I did not install that piece because I could tell it was touching when I installed mine. However, check your lower fairings also, both my oem and track fairings are melting at the bottom of the exhaust.

That cover is not suppose to be used with the full kit, only the slip-on. Tell them to RTFM.

The bad part is, with that cover removed the now plastic burnt pipe will be exposed. They'll have to somehow clean the plastic off of the pipe, ideally without sanding or scraping.

Maybe try getting the bike nice and hot then try to remove it with WD40 and a rag.
