Hey guys,

i need your help.
I pay a lot money for my partially comprehensive insurance,
because Ducati and Harley owners
are the most often victims of order thefts.
In my oppinion the police is roundabout as clever, as officer Wiggum from the Simpsons.
You need to have reacted in 1h, or its gone for ever.
If my bike gets stolen, i want to find it by now and
assisted by my crew, kick the ... of the thiefs.

I want to install a quiet GPS alarm system.
It shell be connected in the same way, like the original Ducati alarm system.

Can anyone give a tutorial, how to do the electrical connection of the standard system. Please also post photos and circuit drawings.
Is there a hard to find place for box 85x56x24mm,
the OEM system is mounted under the seat, for me to easy for a professional thief

thanks you a lot

greetings

Panimike

I currently have the RoadAngel bike-trac.

Road Angel Bike Trac

Can't fault it. I can log in and see where my bike is anytime, anywhere. It sends you an email and sms if the bike is moved without the ignition on i.e. no keys!

It does require a yearly subscription, but the money I saved on insurance costs for the year was nearly 6 times that!!!

Provided an authorised dealer installed it and gave me a certificate, Ducati insurance massively reduced my premium.

you can be happy that your insurance gives a reduction
mine does't give anything
first i had the device from Ebitec on my mind
but 580 bugs is not cheap

I can tell you that NO-ONE in their right mind is going to or should post installation instructions or a wiring diagram for any kind of security system, on a public forum, and if they did they are moronic. With most systems you get what you pay for but the best deterrent is to physically chain the bike to an immovable object, such as a concreted in ground anchor and a big f**k off chain. That or buy a dog and don't feed it too often. Scumbags trying to access your garage or house present tasty morsels and most won't argue with 120lb of pissed off canine.

I too have this problem I will be moving to Apartment Style Living and my bikes will be parked in a car park right next to a train station :(

The train station is 5 meter walk from the car park where my 2015 Harley Davidson Street Bob and my 2015 Ducati Panigale 1299s will be parked. I am shitting myself because the insurance companies wont insure my bikes because the area where i will be moving to is a high theft area.

Do you guys know which is the best Alarm and anti theft for motorbikes?
