Be careful where you mount it. This bike gets HOT. Don't want it to melt !Has anybody Install Lo-jack tracking system on there 1199, cause I'm trying to get my rlink on my bike but there is no where to have it install.
I had the LoJack system installed by the dealer. Definitely recommend it. I had my 2007 TC stolen and i got $5000 back from LoJack, which went to my new TC. I would rather have my TC back, but at least it covered depreciation. Check with your dealer.

rlink mounting location
I put my rlink sr-i1100se under the battery. I used a 24" ziptie to secure it to the lower fan housing. It has been working fine for the last 2 months (no issues with heat on the alarm). If you use this location, it won't be flat like the instructions recommend. This only affects the sensitivity of the shock and tilt feature. Good luck.

What about putting it inside the monocoque,along with the throttle bodies. I dont know how big the unit is your talking about,but if its about the size of a mobile phone then that would easily fit inside the airbox of my old 1098,so I presume there is ample space inside the Pani airbox/monocoque
