Shorai Recommendation

I'll be putting one of this in my 1199: Shorai LFX14A2-BS12. I've had good service from using them in other motorsports applications. The weight savings and negligible self-discharge rate are definitely a plus.

Amazon usually offers reduced pricing.

Enjoy!

Batteria Compatta Al Litio X2 Aliant Ducati 1199 Panigale | eBay

Batteria Ultraleggera Litio YLP09X Aliant Ducati 1199 Panigale | eBay

I have a Shorai and probably wouldn't go with anything else.

I also replaced OEM battery to Shorai LFX14A2-BS12. But faced with ALIANT when search at eBay and wanted to know may somebody has experience or feedback about it.

Lipo is good to go. Except for fire.

Life Po is a little fragile. I'd stick to a lead acid battery if you ride alone often and have no access to anyone's pickup truck.

It might have something to do with my location and eBay...

I decided to buy Aliant and now I hate Shorai since I consider its size is very unsuitable. I hate any handmade work for my Panigale. I must use self-adhesive foam to have good fitting, also must change or optimize an route of cables. Ultimately, I must to fix it with plastic strap. Sake of what? Weight? No thanks. It is easier to replace the battery.

I think yes, eBay shown all items located in US, nothing from Europe.

Lol are you serious? I use Shorai and find it's much smaller size and much lighter wait a very big + point. I still use the original power cables though, no rerouting. :D

Strange.... I went with SkyRich. No problems at all, and they are the ones that come with the SL. Fittment is excatly the same as the lead battery. No zip ties or anything else strange.
And best price. Here they cost 159.- CHF.

I am seriously worried about fitting. The motorcycle is not car, you can not open faring each day to check how battery "feels" self or why something is rattling under the fairing.
Of course, you can tie it, and even more, but I do not want to care about it, also don't want to think everything is okay there or need fix. It's my choise.

I think it's a little higher than OEM. How does it fit? Can you close the battery box using a cover?

OEM: 150mm x 65mm x 93mm
SkyR: 150mm x 65mm x 130mm

Anyway, I will first who buy & use Aliant at this forum :D.

You can show me your battery box without any words. It will be clearly as never. :D

I got it! ;)
