curious to know why one bike's plate says N 4-29/500?

Cool story. Ducati was gifting the 4 & 29 bikes to both their
MotoGP riders. Somehow the mistake was made and the 29 bike was sold to a friend of mine. Ducati contacted him and explained how th bike was supposed to be for Iannone. So in exchange they let him pick any bike number. He chose 4-29/500 for both MotoGP riders. So along with the exchange of the triple clamps, he also received a letter of authenticity from Ducati. My friend also just recently picked up Antihero's painting of 4-29. We're suggesting that he frames all three items together.

4-29/500 has to be the most special Anniversario in my opinion.

My Xmas card list is getting shorter by the day. Very nice you lucky bunch of .......s. Love the 4-29/500 dit. Definitely the most unique anni

great story

Hopefully next time around we can get even more bikes to show up for the shoot.

It would be great to get all the northwest ones together someday. The first Anniversario group pic was 4 bikes. We made 5 this time. Hopefully a day with more.

Beautiful line up there. I just ordered race plastics for my 1299 in that livery.

What's up with the brewery? Are you or another one of the 1299 owners involved with it?

yes, a truly cool story there. yes, he should get all of those frame for sure! too bad he didn't also ask if Ducati can get a signature of Iannone on of of the document as well. thanks for sharing the story. truly makes his bike even more special now.

Holy .... Twisted !!!!

Seeing all those together is absolutely insane man! Exactly where were those taken again?

Tell me, EXACTLY what was the different feeling while riding that vs. the other Ducati you had (Cannot recall for the life of me Twisted?) But would love to see a list of what YOU felt were the biggest differences on that machine if you don't mind?

Thanks and Congrats!!!!

These photos were taken at the Sumerian Brewing Company in Woodinville, Wa. This is for their promotion of the DesmoNW annual Ducati Concours and Everything Italian celebration. Sumerian Brewing has been hosting this for us. The show also includes all the Italian car males that can show like Ferrari Lamborghini etc. A good time for anyone in the area on July 23.

Gunny comparing the Anniversario and the Paul Smart would be like comparing apples and watermelons. The Anni being at the peak of sportbike development versus a throwback to the 70's. But between the two the Paul Smart was still the biggest attention whore I've ever lived with. You couldn't take her out anywhere without drawing admirers, whether rolling down the road or stopped somewhere.
As for the Anniversario, people are so used to seeing Ducati's these days. It's really only the bike people that notice.

If you could let me next time you would like to try and do a meet up I could make a weekend trip out of it and come down. Never been that far west. Of course I would bring anni with me!
