Wonder what to coat your bike with to keep the road salt from corroding if you do winter riding like I do? ACF-50. Prevents salt corrosion from roads and moisture. Top of the line spray. Boeing, Bell, and many other manufacturers use it on aircraft. Comes highly recommended by MotorcycleNews.com and other sites. This stuff really works. You can coat your electrical leads as well to prevent corrosion. Will last for over a year on one light coat of oil. Read this article and it will tell you everything you want to know about it.

Cheapest place to buy it is probably Amazon.com goes for about $20 for a 13 oz aerosol can. Only $5 to ship.

When I was not a fair weather rider, ACF 50 for me too. Excellent stuff.

Coincidently I posted am almost similar post on another forum a week or two ago!

I swear by Scottoiler FS365 rust inhibiter. Fantastic stuff, I have used it for years and swear by it. All my bikes are coated in it.
