To all the 899/959 and 1199 owners who only have upshift auto shifting and wish they had auto up and down shift capabilities with a blipper like all the 1299 and V4 models. Blip Box by Bike Sport Development has a piggy back unit that zip ties to the side of your ECU and runs its harness to the ECU. This enables your bikes to have the capability to have both up and down auto shifting like the 1299 and V4 models. If you would like to go a step further and add these functions similar to the HM stand along blipper pro/lite but without the engine rev warm up like the HM Stand Alone Blipper offers. When up shifting you can up shift like you normally would and be in whatever RPM you are in. However when down shifting you must be at 4600 rpms or higher. Otherwise if you are below 4600 rpms you would need to use your clutch. While that doesnt apply to the many riders. And we downshift at 4600rpms and higher. Especially on the race track or on the street. There are those riders who down shift below 4600 rpms. if you are one of those riders and can acclimate and down shift at 4600 rpms or higher then this unit is for you. As well as for the other riders who will down shift at 4600rpms.
The retail for the blip box in dollars by Bike sport development is $750 plus shipping. And the suggested retail price for the USB cable + winblip is $130 = shipping. However if we can get 8 to 9 buyers for the Blip Box the discount will be very attractive as well as the discount for the USB cable + winblip.
If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and I can give the pricing if we got 8 to 9 buyers. As I mentioned there are already 2 who want it. So technically we need 6 to 7 more Ducati buyers. And if you click on their site and take a look at the other bikes the unit works for. Maybe you have friends who have those bikes and want the ability to shift up and down with out a clutch.
