Good morning. New to the group having put an order in for the new Rally. Converting from the dark side (many BMWs) so coming to terms with the new Ducati world. Anyway…. defo getting a Biketrac fitted and just wondering if having the Ducati alarm fitted too will cause any issues on the battery? Have put this out there as somewhat bizarrely the dealer (name withheld to protect the innocent) has suggested this might cause excessive battery drain so just after some real world experience please? It’ll be on trickle charger at home so that’s fine but as I tour regularly I need to be confident of going away for 2-3 weeks with the odd 2 or 3 night period off the bike. Defo don’t want the departure morning worry if the thing will start! Acknowledging most people ignore alarms but it keeps me happy! Every layer helps, I hope
