USA / East Coast Any riders near Fort Lauderdale

Folks, I’m moving to Florida this year. Just wondering if there any folks in the Fort Lauderdale area.

I was also wondering what mike life is like in Florida. I’m coming from SoCal where I’m spoiled by the mountain and canyon riding. Would love to here what it’s like in Florida.

I grew up there. Unfortunately the riding is pretty boring other than hauling ass. The terrain is flat and straight. You really have to wander further north to get better scenery but none of it will compare to mountains and canyons. It’s also super hot and humid during the summer half of the year. That said, you are close to beaches and the Everglades for some decent rides. Best of luck!

Thanks Jmpropst. That’s what I suspected from looking at the map. I found a few nice rides on Rever and beaches and Everglades sound like fun. I don’t mind touring and hauling ass is fun as well.
