Anyone experienced with shipping a bike overseas?...

Well I want to hit up Isle Of Man next year or possibly the year after that. And I got this "crazy" idea that I wanna take my Pani with me lol. Trying to research options:confused:.
How would I go about shipping my Pani from Florida to IOM and back? Might stay for one maybe two weeks and ship back. Anyone have any info on shippers? If it is not an absured amount it might be cool to do. Thanks guys!:D
 
I think its a crazy idea...:D

Based on a friends experience of trying to ship a bike from Uk to Usa I am going to hazard a guess that its going to cost something around $2600 each way... and logistically I would suggest shipping it to a major Uk port such as Southampton or similar and riding it north Liverpool...

Its a very appealing idea to ship your own bike but I don't think it makes sense Imho...

It would be awesome to do but I'm no millionare so looks like its gonna stay in the dream stage hahaha! I did notice you can rent bikes there.....might be an idea. :cool:

We all do that...:D That's why we buy these expensive toys....But I do agree that renting makes much more sense than dinging your wallet for so much.. and then adding in the dynamic of possible damage during shipping and the fact your bike will be gone from your possession for a long time...Rent and enjoy... Especially Mad Sunday...:)
