Anyone get a call from Ducati?

My wife said that someone from Ducati called today, with an Italian accent. They didn't call back, I wondered if they were calling about the recall on the 99 or maybe it was just a customer service call. Anyone else get one?

Yes I got a call. Just follow up to your purchase to ask if you are happy etc.,. I'm not sure the guy would have been empowered to do anything if I said No, but then I have no complaints anyway.
 
Yes I got the call, I heard its to make sure dealers aren't ordering bikes for fake customers to sit on the showroom floor.
 
Some guy called my house too. He sounded Italian.

Simply asked if the coast was clear?

Wife said she didn't know anything about it!
 
Same here, got the call a couple weeks ago. Said they were mailing me a "thank you" letter.
 
I got the thank you letter a week or two ago. It came with a Ducati membership card lol. I thought that was pretty cool.

No call but I did get a letter. It had a card and directions to go to some web site and register. I thought it intersting that it also had a numebr and said this is my official Ducati ownership id. Great, now I'm just another number. Looks like Audi's purchase is starting to kick in.
 
I got a call from the salesman who dealt with my order and delivery a week after i received the bike. Asking if everything was good and was i enjoying the bike..He called me a couple of weeks ago to invite me to a BSB race that the dealership had hospitality for...Unfortunately i was in Singapore so couldn't make it..
Nice touch tho and the Dealer aftercare has been excellent so far..
 
Got the call yesterday from the Italian dude. Sending me a thank you letter signed by some big whig at Duc. I'm going to frame it, and hang it in my office because I'm douchey like that. lol.
