Yes. Capt CF heads up our local 1199 meets we usually hold in Arlington, or elsewhere perhaps. You are free to join in. Contact the Capt on this forum. Good dude and fellow Duc Bond customer. See ya at next meet perhaps.

I retired from setting up the meets...too many variables. We've got Mr. KO that wants to ironbutt it 3 hours out into the WV twisties and then lazy guys like me that are happy to sit at Starbucks or Chipotle and talk about mods. :)

When I had a monster and used to hang with the monster guys they had a pretty cool setup. They had a regular meet every week or two in the summers. It was always the same place (Rhodeside Grill in Arlington), had good parking, outside seating and since it was always on the same day (Wednesday night I think) whoever wanted to would just show up. A couple times I rode by and nobody was there so I continued on my way home, but it was left open like that so you didn't have to have 500 posts/emails trying to work out scheduling for each meet.

Forum Meet

OK OK. Tell you what. Since Captain CF and I started this out to begin with, and we only held ONE damn meet when Duc was out here visiting, he and I will get together - if he ever gets permission to come over my place-and plot out a location and potential recurring day of week we can all meet to have coffee, talk mods, look at each others bikes, and if there are folks looking to go for a small ride (NOT the trek out to Skyline Drive) then we can discuss this as well.

Saturday am is a nice time to get out for a bit, but many of us have long honey-doo lists for this day. Sundays are ok if you are not glued to football or perhaps have family church and lunch obligations. However, weeknights after work are good for just a simple gathering to have a bite to eat and drink somewhere like Capt said. They would NOT be good for a local ride due to the ridiculous amount of traffic everywhere in the Metro DC area!

One of us will start a NEW VA, DC, MD Meeting Thread to see what the numbers will be and then determine a location good for most of us. No need to continue using that old thread to keep chirping on ok? I will post it now.

Does this sound good for you Captain CF? You and I will NOT be the main POC for this, but I think we can easily get it off the ground for all these new guys and their bikes. Cool with you E?

Sounds good, Gunny. I'm up for a regular meeting and setting up some weekend rides too. I generally ride every Sat and Sun morning during the spring, summer and fall so I'm always up for a ride. I like to go early though - cooler and less traffic. Anyway, we can kick all that around at the meet. :)
