Anyone running the new Termignoni Slip-ons?

Nice Steve, are you installing them on a 1199 or 1299?

1199. Ordered them as such on a whim last Friday night (IPA frenzy?) and they came with the appropriate Y-Pipe and the Sprint Filter.

A teeny bit conflicted on them at this point to be honest, as it's hard to see how they aren't going to be louder than I want; you can look in the outlet and see daylight coming in from the other end - they really are straight-through. Look to be an easy install; Termi and all their distributors are claiming a big improvement over the OEM flat spot with no tune required - we shall see.

Just out of curiosity, what model 1199 did you have and exactly what drove you to change from it to the 1299 my man?

Not sure if that was addressed to me or the OP Gunny, but the OP had and has an S, he just swapped to the new model. I still have my 3-year old Base 1199, which now has forged S wheels and upgraded suspension.

And that's all I needed to hear; IMHO aftermarket exhausts must be louder (as well as more sonorous) than stock.

I do have small concerns about how they will actually perform on the dyno in real life, due to the shortened pipe length. But I'll get them anyways because they're beautiful :)

There are plusses and minuses. Less length, but no super restrictive bend in them. Termi's own charts show a boost to the mid-range, but 3rd party ones with some good tuning will tell us the whole story.

If you don't mind me asking, who did you order these from?
They obviously came in relatively quick

I just ordered mine from Motowheels, who are about 80 miles from me. They now only have 1 left in stock, so if you want one, better jump on it.

Cheers.

Sure; they came from Omnia Racing in Italy.

Hadn't dealt with Omnia Racing before, but as they didn't seem to be in stock domestically as noted here in the forum, I figured I'd give 'em a try. Wasn't in any hurry to get them, so I was surprised to seem them ship and arrive so quickly. I would've guessed the better part of a month based on past experience with some other vendors in Italy, so a pleasant surprise. Ordered them after hours on Friday, Omnia sent tracking info Monday morning, and they were in my office Wednesday.

The rep told me that they have another shipment due in, in about 2 weeks...

Thanks - looking forward to the dyno charts, particularly the one with no map as Termi are showing charts that claim a big improvement over the stock mid-range dip without a tune.

There is a big patch that will be filled once I plug in the RB Module. I plan on a dyno in two weeks and it will be another Dynojet so we shall see.

At 169 HP and 89 Lb. Ft. with no Up-Map and ECU Tune that is pretty decent. I think the AR with the Front Exit Termis had posted some higher numbers. Not sure what kind of Dyno or mods really.

Welcome to the club! You won't believe how light they compared to stock!

Will have to see when I yank the stockers off. Wasn't that impressed picking the Termi's up, but then I regularly pedal a bike up and down mountains that weighs less less than half a tank of gas on my Pani. Not the tank, just the gas... ;)

I bought a Cannondale last year....and stopped riding it after the persistent thought stayed in my head that it was absurd to have to WORK to make my two-wheeler move. I mean, work more than moving my right wrist.

Someone's gonna get a screaming craigslist deal on a very lightly used Cannondale soon :p

LOL... :D Sure, bikes are not as quick as motos, but they're even better for thrashing out all the aggro from too much time at the office. I tell people my motos are great for the head, while the bikes are great for that and the rest of me, too. They do for your body what a Rapidbike and Front-Exit Termis do for your Panigale! Thread now steered back on topic... ;)

My weapon of choice for MTB is the S-Epic, if you can cal it that in FL, lol
It's more like single track riding down here, interestingly enough I started riding to keep myself in shape for the regular trackdays and now I'm hooked

Really interested to see the numbers on a 1299 especially before and after.
I'm considering the Power Commander V if no up map appears
Is there definitely no db killers available for the front exit pipe?!
Concerned without I wont get on track days here in the UK which are getting more stringent noise wise! (usual noise limit is 102db, some places 105db)

Same . I have been hooked for some time . Raced downhill and cross country before motorbikes just ride to keep fit these days . Wish I was as fit as I was back then .
I ride a CF Orbea hard tail 29r.
