"S" wheels are probably as light if not lighter and are usually cheaper...

But I do rather like the Ti color on those, also I don't mind the style, looks "racy"...
 
are they right about the mag R1 wheels if so sort of defeats the point of mag wheels

The new R1's magnesium wheels are cast, not forged which makes them about as light as a good set of forged aluminum wheels.

Although marketing wise Yamaha makes out like a genius to say that magnesium wheels come stock.
 
I think they would look good on a black pani with a polished aluminium tank, would be as bitch to clean though.
 
Personally - and that's all this thread is, personal opinion - I REALLY like the Panigale with gold wheels. Love the ones on the Superlegra
