Anyone tried Nuviz HUD

Anyone tried / thinking of trying the http://https://www.ridenuviz.com/ head up display? Looks interesting but a heavy addition to a helmet?

No affiliation or connection to the company, just wondering.

Looks cool... but not $700 cool.. I see it more as a distraction, but that's just me....

sena is all you need that thing is ugly as sin.
1. i dont need a heads up display for anything how many people actually care about knowing the speed?
2 i hear my music through sena.
3 i can control my calls through sena.
4 if i bring a garmen i hear that through sena i dont need to see the arrow all i need to do is hear turn right or turn left i dont need to see a map.
5 700 dollars = epic fail.

I got mine today. I played with it and thought it was really cool. Then I went to mount it to my helmet. Unfortunately it doesn't work with my AGV pista GP-R. Not even close. The shape of the chin bar and vents on the helmet doesn't provide a spot where you could mount the Nuviz. Such a bummer. I emailed them to see if there are any additional mounting options but I'm guessing I'll be returning it

Ok. I got it setup on my helmet. It's AMAZING.

The music player is convenient because you can turn music on when you're in the carpool lane all by yourself and turn it off when you're in traffic, etc. The map view is also cool. GPS turn-by-turn directions are awesome for when you're going somewhere kind of new. No more pulling over to grab your phone out of your pocket. The video feature is also pretty cool. The quality isn't as good as a go-pro, but it's definitely good enough to capture some moments or to act as evidence in a crash situation.
