but, bottom line it is still flawed to the event based susp., since YOU have to adjust it, and it is not realtime. what if you get off the line and hit a bump? wrong setting and you're "f@cked", event based will react to that.

overall still pretty cool!

I think you are confused slightly. The Aprilia program is for adjusting ECU functions like engine braking, throttle response, wheelie control, traction control etc.

The suspension is a standard one and isn't adjusted by this app.

I don't remember the Yamaha press releases, nor have they actually released any details on how the kit ECU works. So not sure if the R1 system works with the suspension. But I suspect real race guys are yanking that stuff off anyway, and regular trackday people probably shouldn't be messing with it.

The Aprilia one is interesting because they mentioned in the press release that it somehow gives feedback and suggestions.

I don't understand Aprilia...amazing bike...would buy one in a heartbeat...but no dealer support...dealers dropping the brand R and L...frustrating....
