Arai Corsair X vs Shoei X-14

Hey guys, as the title states, I'm kind of in between the two. I like the look of the Shoei a little more but I've always heard great things about Arai but never had one. Any thoughts or suggestions for either one?

Love my Corsair X. Have had it for 2 hrs now. Interior is removable to either wash or replace or customize
 
Have you tried them both on? Arai works well for me... Shoei seems intended for a different head shape.
 
^^^ this. You really have to try them on - might be an “a-ha” moment. Shoei might feel really uncomfortable and the Arai might feel like it was made from a mold of your head.
 
I went through The Lid Picker and ordered the measuring kit, sent my measurements and surprisingly it recommended a larger size than I had been wearing. So much better of a fit. Previously I had just been going off my tape measurement and Shoei and Arai's sizing charts. Bumping up to an XL from a L is much better. I went with thicker cheek pads to get a more snug feel when turning my head at speed.

I tried on the Corsair X and loved it. Most comfortable helmet I've worn. The dealership I went to didn't have any X-14's to try on but I decided on the Arai, thanks for the input though!
