how much difference can there be from brand to brand? the pipes can only be so big and they can only be of certain materials. weight will be about the same. i just bough an r1 for the price of an akra full system.

yep $5,500 is just too much for a full system.

while i agree with you on the 5500 i was talking about the 1299 FE exhaust. its like 8 grand.

there is one FE at me dealer he wants 40. i asked does it come with a race exhaust . he said yes you see it on there. i said no thats not a full race exhaust you see that there those are cats. he said yes but its a full exhaust. ( i hate these word games). he said if you want a full race exhaust its about 8k. i said so im paying up for an exhaust nobody wants and will have to change and you will charge me another 8k plus install to get the proper exhaust. you cant even sell the exhaust cause who is going to buy a system with cats. i would have rathered the regular ducati exhaust. then change it.

remember people sales people are actors nothing more.

Has anyone pulled the trigger on this exhaust system yet? This will be my first option once it becomes available and tuning options exist.

Without a tune available, i think its crazy to alter the exhaust.
I agree, hence why I mentioned I wouldn't do an install until tuning options are available. But I feel we're pretty close to seeing someone release something soon. Bren Tuning appears to be the furthest along, even though they're using a community-wide despised exhaust system to tune lol

I was emailing Arrow about 6-8 weeks ago and they told me they did all their testing with the stock tune and it did not need a change in the map unless you swapped the air filters.

Killer sound, not bad price and no up-map required with not a lot of power gains will no doubt suit a lot of people. Really how much more power does a punter like me really need.

How good can they be if it doesn't move more exhaust out of the bike and let you tune for more fuel?

Have a second test bike with a full Akra system as well :)

The AR system I wanted to use due to price point, should be pretty popular based on that alone.
