Anyone has tried the forged shorty's yet? I called ASV and they gave me a part number so I ordered off ebay and now the dealership is saying they do not fit.

Anyone with any luck? Thanks guys:)

The shorty ASVs for the 1x98 do not fit the Panigale very well. The Panigale master cylinders are a few mm farther out than on the 1x98 models. As so, when I tried to fit the ASV shorties I took off my 1198, they just fowl on the throttle housing before reaching the grips.

In truth, this is at the extreme on the lever movement and not a full on show stopper, though I removed mine as I personally did not like this. For whatever reason, I would hate to want that little extra movement and not have it. Plus, I'm a particular about things be just right.

Thanks for the info. Any black shorty quality levers out there worth spending the cash on? I also am very particular about having everything in its place 100%

I hate to say it but i got some off ebay ( i cant find the link )

$50au months befoore i had my bike
when they turned up they are perfect

Yes, we would like a pic! Ive thought about doing the same but have been hesitant.

you need to push the "bush" out of original to get bits needed.
just need to make sure you have freeplay on clutch master.
and one of the pics you will see there is a pin that activates micro switch for starter, mine lined up perfect.

I recommend these, completely awesome. Folding, adjustable pivot point, length, and lever pull. I have them with a remote brake adjuster. EVO III's $194 each, $109 for the remote.

I called up ASV and they are going to do another fit test to make sure their levers are 100% perfect. They assure that they will fix the problem. I really love their product and want them to be perfect. He will follow up on Wed and as soon as he does I will let everyone know the outcome and solutions. Thanks for everyones help. Have a great week guys!

Ducati's Performance Levers

I thought I would bring up the very recently released Ducati Performance's Billet Brake/Clutch Level 96880011B - the official part. Yes, very expensive for what they are - however probably price wise in line with the Bike and the designer's intent. If Price is an issue than I would by all means look at all the other mentioned offerings as they are a fraction of the price of these babies.

For the record, I have purchased them ... along with the DP Billet Fuel Tank Cap.

x2 and also sold.

They are very nice, even running the Tamburini items close.

For quality parts, the price is pretty much the going rate.

In the first Picture, looks like you will have the same issue as the ASV levers an fowl on the RBW throttle housing.?
