I completely forgot about good ol' Burnsy...

BTW... Did anyone else find it odd the guy in the video couldn't afford a better helmet after forking over money for an 1199s with an AR system...

It started with AR when I first challenged his assertion of his non-shipping product being better than the shipping Termi product. Then it escalated, others jumped in. Then I gave him a chance as he shipped a product and then others just gave him a very good run.

Where we are at now is that the AKRA is the best exhaust on the market.

i agree with cali you cant go wrong with akra. however i paid 2000 for a full termi brand new and i bought it from a ducati dealer so im not complaining. akra is the best but i dont think its more than 2k better for price then add tuning.

those are the only 2 i would consider.

he also stated that his exhaust would exceed the akrapovic in terms of performance. :D

i am only mad that AR is louder than my mod. maybe.

Probably traded his good helmet for dyno tuning time:eek:

He ha ha .. laughing hard at the commentary.

While I do love the Termi's, I completed the bike before the AKRA shipped. I am really happy with the full Termi.

BTW - I now have all my bikes with Termi's and all ceramic coated. On my 998S Bayliss (just finished) I have the Termi slips 3/4 middle pipe, Ducati ECU, PowerCommander 3, Ducati Course Carbon Air runners and the EWR filters. Along with 998RS rear sets, and additional Ducati corse carbon. Parts were a challenge to get hold of. Looking forward to putting a lot of miles on it (it only has a couple hundred on it).

Also have a custom aluminum water tank (very trick) as the 998S are notorious for splitting and blowing the water tank.

I now have a slight wait before my 4th bike comes out and the process starts again.

what's next? 888 or 999?

Would *LOVE* to get a decent 999R Xerox, however I decided to get a brand new Ducati that is not available yet. I don't expect to get it April/June and will let you know when I get it. Would rather get it in my hands first. Although, almost certainly gonna post stuff on ducati.org

mork calling austin come in austin. cant believe its back

Yeah.
I saw it recommended on another forum not too long ago.
Apparently it's a really special bit of kit that AR exhaust system:rolleyes:
And highly recommended too.
The guy recommending it was the newly self appointed DUCATI forum god or something, so I didn't bother jumping in to set the record straight.

I remember all to well what it was like here:eek:

Was his name Burnsy or Rich? lol

You should just post links to those other threads I posted there and wait for his response :D

I entertained the idea of buying the AR22 exhaust system for awhile too. I am happy I didn't buy it now after reading this. The main reasons I was turned off to it was that, the website was crappy and lack of positive customer feedback.

Just for some balance, I have no affiliation to AR but I have the exhaust and I love it.

Whatever the problems with Rich that occurred here it is still the best looking and sounding (IMO) exhaust available, it may lack the midrange of the Akra (have we had back to back independent dynos? I don't come on here much) but it does the numbers all the same.

Thanks, I just noticed the options on the bottom. Appreciate the link.

PS: Any related feedback for the AR22 would be greatly appreciated.

You are better off reaching out to actual owner of the exhaust and getting their experience as the whole debacle on this site turned a little nasty with the majority of postings coming from non owners.

for what it's worth i have zero affiliation with AR but i do have some of their rear sets which are great:)

I understand that Wafboy mentioned in the various threads was an owner of the AR exhaust system and as such was sharing his experiences.
