... after 2 1/2 weeks vacation....

started up my old 944 in germany and took a trip to italy (tuscany wiht the wife. on the way back we stopped in Ischgl (austria) to rent a Multi S (skyhook) for 1 day to take this loop.

if you ever need a bike in the area (they only rent out for 1 day) i can highly recommend them: highbike-paznaun Motorrad Testcenter - highbike-paznaun.com - BMW ? Ducati ? KTM ? Triumph

the multi was 90 euro a day, 1 set of rider gear head to toe 50 euros...

enjoy the pics:

unfortunately ducati is closed in august (even the shop across the street :( )

Great pix man, looked like a sweet trip. Love the 944, when I was 8 my parents got me one as a RC car just when I moved to Germany. Just gave me a huge flashback looking at it. Thanks.

Very cool, looks like a good trip. Amazing views, very jealous. :) About the tourists, I'm sure you've heard the phrase Ugly Americans? With the developing countries in Asia, they've taken up the slack.

In eastern europe a number of trips I made a few years ago, the Germans (sorry phil! :) ) were considered the "ugly" tourists by the locals. Ditto in Russia.

sure so, but with the russians taking over europe in summer and winter since a few years, nobody cares about the ugly germans any more ;)

i also took some driving videos in the car of the roads, unfortunately, for the Multistrada loop, the GoPro's top bucle broke so i couldn't use it...

great pic of the ducati factory, we started the motogiro vintage race riding out of the parking lot and up thru the dolomites for 1k km back in 2003. I love love love riding in Italy!!

The gulf color schemed monster is interesting!

Cool trip!

Fantastic pics, Phil..thanks for sharing. On another bike forum that I used to frequent, a member from France would share he and his wife's holiday adventures particularly in Italy. Besides the awesome riding, there was also the equally awesome food!
