My second Competition Werkes tail light just sh!t the bed. First one the left turn signal stopped working. They sent me a new one no charge even though it was past warranty. Now the right brake light is out. Had to put the factory brake and rear turn signals back on until I find a solution. Opened both tail lights up and the build quality is horrendous, It looks like every solder is cold. I might just see about buying some addressable leds and a Arduino trinket and do a Gecko, not as fancy though.

Thanks from me too, my oem is cracked and was thinking of an aftermarket replacement.

I’m on my second CW rear light myself. They are prone to failure, and after opening mine, the build qaulaity is truly terrible, but damn it looks nice when it actually works.

I know we have to pay the luxury tax but for what they charge these things should be bullet proof

You guys with broken/cracked/not working CW tail lights - what's your riding environment like? I'm wondering if there's a lot of bumps or potholes or bad roads you're riding over that's causing the issues...
I have one and it's still flawless

Nice smooth roads in Florida, both of mine were just horrible construction. CW actually admitted to quailty issues with their supplier when they sent the second one to me. Each one lasted ~1.5 years
