I took my bike in to get the suspension dialed in to weight, and when they were trying to set it up, the front forks would not respond when the allen fitting was turned at the top of the fork. they turned the socket fitting 4 turns to the right, but i didnt see how many times they turned the allen fitting at the top or on the bottom of the fork. Suspension in the front is now soft as ..... The tech said it may be an air bubble or the shocks went zero damper. I had this issue once already, and ducati replaced the forks. i do not see how it could happen twice in a matter of months. Any helps would be appreciated. i dont know anything about suspension. if you are somewhat close to San Diego i would be willing to travel. I just need to figure this out, as i am kind of freaking out right now.

Sorry, Bud; your nitrogen bladders might be busted! Happened to me 3 times this summer. The first time was at a trackday and I ended up on my a$$.
Call your dealer about it, you're in line for a brand new set of forks

yes indeed, mine were busted too, exact same symptoms, was replaced under warranty last week.

just makes no sense considering its both at the same time. WTF causes this? i mean this is my second set in like 3 months, and considering im leaving for texas in less than a month, and it took over a month to get the last set, im kinda getting annoyed

So I'm curious, are any of you guys tying down your bikes by the handlbars front forks? ie compressing the forks for transporting in a trailer.

Someone else had this problem and they had the bike tied down this way.

I use the pitbull trailer restraint and a bonus of this is not having to compress the front forks.

First time it happened we thought it was the tiedowns, so we went for the Pitbull system right away.
Second time was also at the track with the bike on the stands, we heard one go bust and the second one busted in the next session.

Have nothing but good things to say about Ducati and my dealer, they turned me around within a week each time.

Make sure you get an entirely new set of forks, from what I heard it's the cap causing this, so if they only replace the cartridge it's a matter of time until it reoccurs.

Im calling marzocchi and ducati on monday. Have numbers for.both. the last time this happened it was a one month turnaround, and im not playing that game again.

Your dealer's a mooch, Ducati are well aware of the problem and are shipping out new forks within 3 workdays. That's if your service rep gets on the horn.
