Base Steering Damper Rebuildable?

Interesting thought... it is a junky piece so I would be intrigued to know the answer to this... Everyone I know bought an Ohlins ..but at some $350ish IIRC then it would be nice to have an option....

It isn't rebuildable. I mean it might be if you start taking it apart from the sides, but I am just not going to do that. If I find I need it harder, I will just get the Ohlins.
 
I haven't really investigated it but I wouldn't think it to be rebuildable as it looks to be complete sealed.

Makes me wish that I didn't sell my Matris M4 with my ZX-10R last year... That thing was an amazing damper!
 
I've had Ohlins everything on most of my bikes, but I'm going to go a different route on the Pani: Bitubo
