Battery life

Question: Where or how far from the bike do you keep your key?

OK, since nobody is biting I will share some personal experience.

I had to charge my battery every 3 weeks and while I was gone for 8 weeks it went dead.

I shared my experience with a fellow Pani rider and he told me that it matters where you keep your key.
Keep it in the ignition or keep it at least 30 feet from the bike or the electronics will do the equivalent of roaming for the key which will drain the battery.

Call me crazy, but when I followed his advise....no more problems.

Sounds like a sticky clutch like you get on the dirtbikes? I've never had to charge my Panigales other than when I left the DDA plugged in under the rear seat.

Thanks Royal. Can't say ive experienced a sticky clutch before but bike is noticeably harder to roll around when in-gear with clutch fully engaged, than in neutral. Will definitely be keeping at eye on this.
