After stripping overly soft metal fasteners and allen socket bolts at less than specified torque (with proper high quality tools) I have found these, and a set of better quality replacement fasteners as essential tools for working on a modern Ducati. For whatever reason fasteners on my BMW seem to not strip at specified torque. I still love my Duc, but these make it easier to live with 
I like these in particular as they allow use of a socket wrench/extension for tight spaces
