These are located on the front headers pipe you will be able to view the current shields if you look towards the radiator on the right side of the bike.
They are pretty much hidden from sight.... also due to the heat they will turn or start to burn. you might be able to get away with a heavy x2 layer for heat tape on the back that might sort out the burning or yellowing issue... I hope this helps.
