Funny. That ´s the bike I did the test drive on. :)

Bad thing about that tower: The website says you need to cut a hole into the cover :(

the hole is covered.
I don ´t know if I like that :/

And they are not the first who invented a stand like that:
google
Constands paddock
Bursig paddock racing stands

SWEET!!!! I already have a Pit Bull but I could really use one of these. The small
cut in the plastic is still discrete so I think I'd do it.

awesome piece of tool, i'll get one, can you leave the bike on this stand as long as you want (thinking winter storage)?

I would love to have this stand if I could make a clean circular cut like the one in the photo. Not too keen on cutting on the fairings but this stand is pretty nice.

yeh not sure on the cutting, knowing me, id slip and take a big chunk out, still a great idea though.
cheers burty.

there's no way in hell, I'd cut the fairing for a stand.

And I'd pass if I found a used one for sale that had been cut.

I think the notch is pretty discrete and so, I'd do it...

what I wouldnt do is get that stand for almost $400, I can get a nice red table lift for that, which I'd utilize more often.

The Bursig stand and the rest of the copies uh clones, have some good features and some limiting features
Pros
1. Guys with small workshops with limited space where you can position the bike conveniently in any direction.
2. Front forks and rear shock can be completely removed for servicing.
3. This is the perfect tool to conveniently set up sag: bike unloaded measurement, bike loaded weight, bike with rider loaded weight.

Cons
1. All the stands I have seen use the swingarm pin as the main anchor point. So you won't b able to remove the swingarm
2. The above is also true for the upper rear engine mount.
So with the two above, engine removal won't be possible and still have the stand in place, but in reality major work on your bike can be done to some extent.
3. Aftermarket rear sets may hit or interfere with your stand adaptor plate. Some people have gotten the plate milled with no loss of strength. The plate I know that was getting milled was bcausr of interference with the gear shifter.

All in all a great stand making capable a lot of easy chores on your bike. No the full Monty, but still good enough.

And yes, I do own an original Bursig stand for my 999S :)

Wow I'm more blown away by the state of the paint bubbling on that fairing!!! Awfulness everywhere!
