Really sad news to share folks..

I actually met this guy for the first and last time in Nov last year during our monthly Ducati owners club meets and was shocked and saddened when I heard about his death.. it happened on Tue night.. :(

Motorcycle hits pothole in Minneapolis, rider killed - KMSP-TV

While I have to admit that the speeds he was doing was totally dangerous for this time of the year when the snow has just started melting and there are cracks and other things on the roads, its sad nevertheless. I don't intend on resuming riding atleast until mid April until the snow has totally cleared and the roads are safer than what they are now..

BTW he is of east Indian origin like myself and also happens to be from my hometown as well..

RIP Anand and may God give your family strength through this difficult time.

100mph after dark in the city weaving in and out of traffic, is a no no.

Sorry about your friend

That must have been a hell of a crack in the pavement.

Sorry that he passed.

Lesson to all of us. Speed kills. Helmet wasn't on his head makes you wonder if it was buckled or didn't fit properly.

I don't always wear a helmet, but I damn sure buckle it when I do. I woke up in ICU when I was 14 from an unbuckled helmet incident.

We all do stupid things. Sometimes you don't get away with it.

Chris

Very sorry to hear of your friends passing. Strength to all that are grieving during this difficult time.

It is a challenge to draw an "upside" from this incident, but there is one. Careful out there folks.

Wow... so sad to read stories like this... Very sorry for your loss....

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers folks.. appreciate the support.

A group of our biker friends are planning to meet up later today in honor of our deceased friend. God be with you Anand
