I've never heard of anyone hating the RC51...except Troy Bayliss in WSB.

That MV exhaust was gorgeous and the single sided swing arm on the Hawk was great. The Hawk makes a great track bike.

That's awesome. Not many people know what a Minigoose is. I have an original mini complete from 76. Cats out of the bag. I am a closet case BMX bike collector. All pre 1978. Early Redline and Champions. Also have a Doug Schwerma built Champion TZ 750 (ex Roberts) frame and swingarm. Not many people know Kenny Roberts had a BMX company. I met Kenny in 1976 as a 13 yo kid at his shop in Oakdale CA. Still have the frame he gave me that day. Will post a pic in a bit. Good times. Thanks Wilkson. I think every kid on the planet back in the day wanted an XR 75.

Thanks Brad . I kept this one 1977 Gt 80 it's still registered and a complete laugh to ride .

I used to have the sales pamphlet for that exact bike and the YZ80A.

1977. The year I got my learners licence for a bike. My first bike on the road at that time was a 1976 Honda XL175. I was doing club motocross on a Suzuki RM125A. Fun times.

The XR75 is getting big money on e prey right now. One on at the moment for about 5K restored.

I was trying to get him a Redline Micro Line as I raced Redlines as a kid but found the frames harder to come by here .
