They should custom paint one in SENNA colors....Metallic Grey with Matte Black lower Panel and Red Wheels....just like the 1st gen SENNA edition 916! :D

My track setup is flat black and o like it more than the red I already love...

My dealer custom painted one in black that sold recently so somebody around the mid-atlantic area is tooling around on one. I haven't met him/her yet, but I doubt they are on the forum or the color would have come up.

Phil, how do you like those Michelin Cups? Ridden in rain yet? Think I might get those or hell maybe some pirelli pro slicks....:D

I love it in flat black... gloss blass I don't like it.

WTF happen in the that tank?

@Phil - Looks great!

How hard is it to switch from street to track glass? My Aprilia Mille R was 30 minutes completely but my MV F4 was about 2 hours minimum. Does a standard Dzus fastener fit the standard bodywork mounts? I've got a set of trick bodywork that I'm still figuring a paint scheme for and haven't even tried to mount it yet.

Also, is that rear stand from Harbor Freight? And which rear axle slider are you using? Sato?

Thanks!

so many questions, all not related to a black panigale ;)

so let's blow it up.

Cobra, i love the michelins, especially for the price. got the set for $329.
they are terrible in the rain. still managed a day on the dragon and cherohala skyway with about 1 1/2 " of water on the roads...

Jeff, switching is about 5 minutes for the tail section and ~ 1.5hours for the front. nose fairing is not quite easy, also you have to tie up all the wires for the headlight assy.
the pro fiber bodywork fits quite well, the 2 dzus fasteners close to the tank need some cutouts on the original black plastic underneath, but then it works fine.
the axle sliders are R&G, and yes, the stand is HFT. had it left over from the previous bike (tuono) it came with from its owner... i also use it with adapters for my tire balancing...

Trauma, nope, was my first fiberglass job. if i have had more experience, the cover would have turned out better ;-)

saw a painted black on @ Ducati Soho last year. i like black, but it did nothing for the looks of the bike in my opinion. the flat above looks all business and i even dig it in white. makes you wonder what colors they'll do next?
