Durring a trip this fall, I loaded up my tail bag (if you have a problem w/ a bag on this bike, I could care less) and headed out on a 800 mile-ish trip and did so in a hurry. What i was left w/ was some rather scuffed and dulled areas on the tail section due to my lack of attention. Oh and btw, use the pillion if you do have said bag. This note was kindly suggested by a member here that would more then likely have prevented this... but I'm a bit on the slow side and normally have my head lodged up my rear end... but that's another issue that doesn't apply...

Anyway, I would take pics but it does't really translate. I had some of this polish laying around that i had used / bought at some point that I forgot about laying in an aerosol chest in my shop:

It's what i believe to be "jeweler's polish". It works a bit like compound, but stays moist and doesn't dry apply upon application. It's the type of thing that takes multiple applications but I found it to work REALLY well at "buffing out" these dull and rather deep damage that occurred from my bag. I tried to get some pics, but that didn't turn out great. I'll try to post some up if there is interest.

I don't work for the company and thought I'd share if to help is anyone is bummed on a blemish in the PLASTIC to their closest thing they'll ever get to an Italian Super model this side of dreams. But it's a bike... and if ridden it's going to get dinged up.

Here's the sheet:

Polish Any Metal,Remove Scratches From Jewelry,Watches,Silverware

Hope it helps someone out. PS: This product will not suppress heat to the best of my knowledge...........
