I'm all for the blue too.

What's weird is that the cans don't turn blue. I wonder if you removed the packing for a bit if they would turn blue.

Wow Royal, that windscreen is HUGE!

Definitely because of the packing but my concern would be if the heat wasnt evenly distributed and you ended up with a splotchy can.

Stainless steel will blue as well however from what the dealer told me, the OEM exhaust pipe is not 100% stainless steel.

Will anodising or powdercoat last on an OEM exhaust?

I'd like to get the exposed section black.

I just purchased this beauty in November from New Orleans, Louisiana, I've been trying to figure out how to make the exposed exhaust pipe look better and based on what I've read, the only way to get the nice Blue is to replace with titanium, therefore I'm going to use high temp engine paint from O'Reilly in aluminum color. I will sand and prep and go from there. I will try and post some pics when I get to it, I'm currently deployed and purchased the bike online with the help of my wife back home, I'm dying to ride it, it's sitting in my garage with a battery tender at the moment.
