what do you lot use to clean off your boot scuffs? especially from the rear tail piece?
Im forever catching it with my boot as i get on and off and with the venture shield on it im worried that too much elbow grease may create problems?
Ive tried spray on wax polish (zimoniz), wd40 but they dont really work, Is there a product on the market that helps clean it off?

Normally just rub it dry with a microfibre cloth untill it's gone. I find that if you wet it, then it's actually harder to get off. I suppose it does depend on what rubber/plastic your boots are made of?

You could try Diesel, I always keep some in the garage, handy for all sorts of stuff. Diesel will melt/soften certain rubbers but not plastics.

do some stretching exercises so you can lift your leg higher! ;)

Once you have the bike all cleaned up finish with silkolene pro-prep. Makes just about everything easy to wipe off.

ha, got you beat ! 52 here, I wimp out tho, due to a nerve injury, getting on the bike I have to put my left foot on the peg and then get on the bike, like getting on a horse.

Here's a link to plexus in the UK good stuff, but the UK price is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of line.

Where's the link? Can't find it..

you can get it on Evil bay or try some pre polsh cleaner as this normally very mildly abrasive so will remove most small scratches also.I bought some Plexus for the rear window on my old Porsche which was totally fooked ....Came up like new after using it so would highly recommend the stuff.

Pros use 3M Hand Glaze.......I too badly scuffed my tail-piece and it buffed out completely using the hand glaze and a clean cloth (microfiber is best!)
