Installed the DP adjustable levers, they are great. However I am having problems getting the brake light to come off. No matter how I adjust the brake lever or the tiny plastic tube that makes contact with the brake light sensor the brake lights have a tendency to stay on when the lever is released - meaning enough contact is not making it to the sensor. Any tips or tricks for this?

Thanks for the link. Looks like he had to shim it with some tape. I was afraid I would have to do something like that but wanted to make sure I hadn't done something wrong. You'd think the DP pieces would work properly out of the box.

+1 yeah, you think for all the money they charge for these parts they should fit perfect. Especially since it's a DP product!

I used heat shrink tubing, but tape would yield the same result.

That's exactly what I tried first, but changed to tape, due to the increased friction from the more rubbery finish.

I'm sure the increased friction wouldn't be an issue, but I didn't want the brake switch gasket to perish any.

I used rubber tape. I simply removed my DP levers, wrapped it on the nipple that has the plastic bushing...Works fine!

Its a DP product and it should be perfect...I guess parts like these are sub-contracted by other lever manufacturers but Quality Control from Ducati is just satisfactory. :(
