ok I am back
Was looking at my brake pads after my trip
How long did yours last?
My ride has 3600 miles on them and they look thin
Might pick up a set of performance friction brake pads. They were great on the vette

Mine are starting to squeal pretty loud and I don't ride the bike hard AT ALL. I even let engine braking do most of the braking. Bike has just under 4000 miles so I gotta take a look at it one of these weekends. I did buy some vesrah rjl pads so I may have to swap them out. Seems pretty quick for easy riding but maybe the squealing isn't due to worn pads. We'll see.

Just over 5 k mine squeak when they are cold. Just recently inspected them. Still in great condition Pretty sure it's normal ops. How bad are they squeaking?

they are not squeaking yet... just look a bit worn. after my trip in NC i noticed i needed more lever pull to stop the monster.... aka 1199

rear looks healthy but front two maybe another 500 miles at best

I have 33,000Kms on mine, and they are still good, but will probably
change them out this winter

No track, and a mix of highway and twisties, I have to do some highway to get to the good stuff....

After responding to this thread I took another look at my front pads last night, and I still have about .040" to .050" of pad thickness left, but what you have to know, is these pads are fairly thin even when they are new. I once bought new pads for my zx10r as they were down to about .040 thick, the new ones were only .10" thick, meaning my old pads were 60% worn.....not as bad as I thought. However I have never seen a new set of Panigale pads to compare start thickness
