I realize this is a compete longshot. But if you happen to have a single Braketech CMC rotor lying around not being used I'd be very much interested in buying it.

Its not gonna happen we have been waiting for 10 years. Jeff doesn't have the resources anymore for the material.
You know what? Youre right. When I spoke to him on the phone back in June and July I was asking about the difference between the axis iron and axis ss. And he mentioned the ceramic rotors were not being manufactured. I clicked on the cmc rotors which are still listed as coming soon on the website and assumed that they began making a 3rd generation and that they would be coming out soon. Im guessing he didnt update his site. AXIS/CMC™ ROTORS

Honestly I am not sure why some people who track their bikes 4-5 times a year . And others just ride in the street. With most of the street riders not even coming close to riding the bike to its full potential or even 70% of its potential would want to spend $2567 on Sicom cmc rotors. Yes they are lighter. But these guys just by carbon fiber to lower the weight and buy Marchesini , OZ, BST, Rotobox or some other wheel companies to drop the weight of the bike as well as get rid of unsprung weight.

I was asking about brake tech and brembo brake rotors and was told the Brembo HPs were just a small step above the OEM and stick to the OEM. The Brembo Tdrive rotors were given high praises But the OEM cost more than my cost on the T Drives. May as well get the Tdrives and benefit the 10-12 or even 14 track days I get. I cant justify myself spending that much money on ceramic rotors when I know ill never get the full benefit of them. At least I can admit my experience and limitations.
