Yeah, I'm pretty damn depressed about it, but now is the time- interest rates are absolutely kick-ass right now! We're talking 2.75% on a 7/5ARM 2% cap. That deal blows away any bike I could ever remotely get my hands on.
 
Just listened to a James Altucher podcast today where he pointed out all of the reasons why you should never buy a house.

I own a house FWIW, but maybe wouldn't if I'd heard the podcast a year ago.
 
I know how you feel, I really do.. Two years ago I broke me heart selling the two motorcycles in my collection that were very special to me, my 96 zx7r wsbk replica and my 98 916sps tribute; this was done to buy my house.. I told myself I'd start again some day, two weeks ago I bought my 1199..
You'll be able to buy another when you recover from the innitial home purchase.. Just enjoy having a home for the time being...

When I moved to Florida (2007), I owned a house in Maryland that I finally sold in 2013. Lost my ass on that deal. I don't think I'll own another home either, unless we see another housing crisis which can happen since they are still doing the same .... they were doing to cause the housing crisis in the first place. I'm investing my money else where and boy is it paying off......
 
I love my house and they family likes it much more than my bikes... I think a house is a good choice especially when you have or are going to have a family. There will always be the next best bike out there and we'll still be here drooling over it.

Eyes are in the market for a base or maybe a priced to sell S thankfully (once these things sell)! Any 1199 is better than no bike at all ;)
 
I'm in th process of upgrading suspension so I have no spare cash for such novelties. If your exhaust isn't gone in a month pm me I'll take it.

You will not beat this price. You know you want it.

When I first bought a different one of these systems for my bike it was hard to justify the cost. Then it arrived at my doorstep, then I installed it, then i rode it. From the weight savings, to the sound, to the beautiful look of the header, carbon heat shield, etc etc it's an incredible beauty.

I'll be sending you a shipping quote to Sydney anyway :p
