Thicker and more surface area, so less prone to warp in extreme braking. Plus floating disk, so technically can seat better with the pads. The main reason non-heavy racers buy them is the "bling", gold rather than black hubs. But they really should have the Z04 need the racing pads, which are no good for street. This is a great price however!

I have them with the z04 pads and they are fantastic if you are looking for a bit more stopping power.

You could reuse the discs, just get a set of 2mm spacers for the disc.
